Week Ahead: Styrofoam Ban, Outdoor Salsa, Legally Blonde

Who said the law was black and white? It's pink! Enjoy the adventures of law student Elle Woods in Peninsula Youth Theatre's production of Legally Blonde. It starts July 27th and runs until Aug. 4th at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. Visit the box office website for more information.

Tuesday, July 30

The City of Mountain View wants to ban polystyrene, more commonly known as styrofoam, from all food service establishments. A public meeting on the ordinance will be held in the Council Chambers at Tuesday, July 30 at 2 p.m. where information will be given and input taken about a proposed ordinance.

Thursday, Aug. 1

Bring your dancing shoes to Rengstorff Park and sway to Pacific Mambo Orchestra, a 19 piece big band that will play Salsa, ChaCha and Merengue. Free from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Friday, Aug. 2

"Let's go to the movies! Let's go see the stars!" The City of Mountain View's Summer Outdoor Movie Night's Series, continues this Friday, Aug. 2 with "Shreck" at Stevenson Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Free and open to the public. Starts after dark.
