Bestselling author and autistic activist Dr. Temple Grandin, an animal science professor at Colorado State University, will speak, take audience questions and sign her book at the The Media Center in Palo Alto at 900 San Antonio Rd. Event starts at 7 p.m. Event hosted by Abilities United Presents.
"Let's go to the movies! Let's go see the stars!" The City of Mountain View's Summer Outdoor Movie Night's Series, continues this Friday, July 26 with "Wreck-It Ralph" at Eagle Park. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Free and open to the public. Starts after dark.

Tour Mountain View Fire Station No. 1's Edible Garden and meet enthusiastic gardener Mike Robbins, whose garden includes fruits and vegetables. Gather at the Mountain View Public Library and be ready to leave at 11:15 a.m. to 12 p.m.
