Wife Shoots, Mistakes Husband For Home Invader: Mtn. View Police
The Mtn. View woman told police shot her husband in the arm because she thought they were victims of a home invasion on San Carlos Avenue.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — A man was accidentally shot in the arm Thursday night in Mountain View by his wife, who believed they were the victims of a home invasion, police said.
Officers responded about 9:45 p.m. to a report of a shooting and possible home invasion in the 700 block of San Carlos Avenue. The couple was on the front lawn of their home and the husband had a gunshot wound to his forearm, Mountain View police said Friday.
Police determined that there wasn't a home invasion and are looking into what led to the shooting. It is believed the husband was accidentally shot, according to police.
