2 Elderly Victims Identified In Deadly Menifee Crash
The sheriff's department reports a man and woman died in the wreck.

MENIFEE, CA โ Two elderly people were killed in a crash in Menifee on Tuesday, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and coroner's office report. The wreck happened around 2:55 p.m. along State Route 74 at Briggs Road.
"The preliminary investigation showed a motorist... was traveling westbound on State Highway 74, veered to the right, and struck a light pole at the intersection of Briggs Road," sheriff's Sgt. Marshall said. "The motorist sustained major injuries and died at the scene."
The coroner's office on Wednesday identified that woman as Frances Sanders. She was 81.

In the car with Sanders was 88-year-old Myles Prevost, who was rushed to nearby Inland Valley Medical Center. He died a short time later, according to sheriff's reports.
Sheriff's officials are now looking for witnesses to this crash as they investigate. Marshall asked that if anyone has information related to it, to call Deputy Bryan at the Perris Sheriffโs Station at 951-210-1000.
