5 Things to Know in Murrieta: April 30

Register for a Mother-Daughter Tea to be held Saturday at Murrieta's Town Square Park.

1. It will be cooler today, according to the National Weather Service. Patchy fog was forecast before 11 a.m. Otherwise, it should be cloudy through mid morning, follwed by gradual clearing and a high near 74. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph. Tonight, expect the fog to return after 11 p.m., along with partly cloudy skies and a low around 49.

2. The City of Murrieta is accepting registration for a Mother-Daughter Tea to be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4 at Town Square Park. The theme is "Mad Hatter," so guests are encouraged to wear a fancy hat. There will be food and fun at this tea party. The cost is $20 per couple; $5 for each additional child. 3. Here's what's for lunch today at elementary schools in theย Murrieta Valley Unified School District: French bread pepperoni pizza.
