Another Whole-House Marijuana Grow Busted In SWR
For the second time this week, sheriff's deputies discovered and dismantled an illegal grow operation from a home.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA โ An illegal marijuana grow operation was discovered at a home in Lake Elsinore, the second such discovery in as many days in the city, authorities said Friday.
Sgt. Glenn Warrington of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said in a news release that authorities received complaints "regarding possible illegal marijuana cultivation" at a home on Via Del Renal Court. They served a search warrant around 3:30 p.m. Thursday and found another local home that had been converted into an illegal grow operation.
"The entire residence was turned into an illegal marijuana cultivation," Warrington said. "There was no one located at the residence."

As with the other case involving a home that was found this week in Lake Elsinore growing marijuana, this too, involved the theft of utilitiesโ approximately $52,000 worth, Warrington said.
The house was deemed uninhabitable and power to the home was turned off, he said.
