Body Found In Menifee Lake Confirmed As Missing San Jancinto Man
Edwin Alvarez Soria, 21, was reported missing Saturday. His body was discovered Wednesday.
MENIFEE, CA — A 21-year-old man who was reported missing from his San Jacinto home over the weekend has been found dead in a Menifee lake, the sheriff's department confirmed late Wednesday.
The body of Edwin Alvarez Soria was found by divers in waters that are part of the Menifee Lakes housing community.
Alvarez Soria's car and belongings were discovered in the housing tract Tuesday, but the young man was not found.

Members from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Dive Team searched the lake Wednesday and made the grim discovery.
The manner and cause of Alvarez Soria's death are pending, but the sheriff's department reported that foul play is not suspected.
