MURRIETA, CA ?Christmas has come and gone, and while the tree may still be merry under the lights and sparkle, a live tree can become a fire hazard as it dries out.

When it's time for recycling, Waste Management, the City's franchised waste hauler, will provide a Christmas tree recycling program for the residents.

"Waste Management will start picking up your Christmas trees on the first scheduled pick-up date after Dec. 26th through Jan. 6, 2024," they said.
