The Department of Waste Resources is excited to bring a new class online for Riverside County residents on green landscaping. This class will be offered for the first time on Saturday (May 8) from 9 - 10 a.m. Attendance is free and the class can be accessed on any computer, tablet or smartphone.

Green landscaping, also referred to as sustainable landscaping, is an easy and cost-efficient way to be environmental. From learning about Riverside Countyโs native plants to water efficiency, this class answers questions about closing the loop on green waste and utilizing green space efficiently. Green landscapes are helpful for residents and businesses alike.
