Discovery Isle® Preschool Students in Murrieta Release Ladybugs

Students celebrated the environment by releasing thousands of beneficial bugs in their schoolyard

Students at Discovery Isle Preschool in Murrieta have caught the environmental bug! On April 23, students celebrated Earth Day and taking care of the planet by releasing thousands of ladybugs throughout the schoolyard and back into the environment on plants, flowers and trees. Leading up to Earth Day, students learned that ladybugs serve as a natural pesticide by feeding on insects that could otherwise harm the health of gardens, trees and shrubs. Discovery Isle Preschool teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
