Downed Tree Blocks Eastbound Cal Oaks Road In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA — A large tree that toppled onto Cal Oaks Road in Murrieta was blocking all eastbound lanes near the Sports Park, and motorists were being advised to avoid the area.

The tree fell shortly after 3 p.m. Friday and Murrieta police officers were on scene to direct traffic.

According to the Murrieta Police Department, westbound lanes were clear and no injuries were reported.

Crews were summoned to remove the tree.
