Firefighters Save Murrieta Apartments From Brush Fire
The fire was reported in the 28000 block of Calle Del Lago.
MURRIETA, CA โ A fire Tuesday afternoon in Murrieta that had the potential to spread to nearby apartments was quickly doused by firefighters.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 1:48 p.m. in the 28000 block of Calle Del Lago. According to initial reports, a small area of brush caught fire behind a garage and apartment buildings.
When Murrieta Fire & Rescue crews arrived, the blaze had spread to a dumpster, a fence, and the garage.

Crews worked quickly and were able to knock down the fire in about 10 minutes.
Firefighters managed to save the garage, but the structure was damaged.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
