Gosch Ford Temecula Awards $53,000 in Scholarships and a New Car

Temecula, CA — Gosch Ford Temecula hosted their first annual Education First banquet on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, honoring local high school seniors in the Murrieta and Temecula school districts.

Approximately 150 community members, including students and their families, gathered to attend the banquet at Gosch Ford Temecula’s showroom floor. Students in attendance at the banquet were from Chaparral, Great Oak, Murrieta Mesa, Murrieta Valley, Temecula Valley, and Vista Murrieta high schools. Marc Gosch, Gosch Ford Temecula’s owner, and Jason Noble, General Manager, honored the following 50 high school seniors with a $1,000 scholarship to be used toward their continued education: Abigail Mupas, Aidan Stuart, Alek Martinez, Amaya Fogg, Amy Kehoe, Brandon Skaggs, Brittany Licitra, Charles Graff, Chloe Bell, Elizabeth Rudisill, Emily Gerdes, Emily Minich, Emma Huter, Ethan Juarez, Giselle Duke, Grace Green, Hannah Kearns, Haylie Tudor, Isabelle Van Den Bergh, Jacob Hauge, Justin Rhee, Katrina Petchers, Kayla Lesovsky, Kayla Manning, Kayla Voegele, Ling Chiu, London Mainwaring, Mariah Peña, Matthew Dull, Maverick Villon, Megan Buckley, Melanie Reynolds, Morgan Buchnoff, Natalie Adras, Natalie Herrera, Nicolas Peña, Payton Sullivan, Preston Toner, Russell Briggs, Samantha Sanchez, Savannah Paul, Setu Migao, Shannon Keegan, Skylar Price, Sophia Licitra, Summer Ellis, Taylor Walling, Thaleia Fontanez, Thien Vo, and Trent Bean. A raffle was held for an additional $3,000 scholarship and was awarded to Giselle Duke of Great Oak High School.

“We are truly pleased with the success of this programs first year and would really like to encourage those going to junior colleges and trade schools to apply for the scholarship next year,” said Marc Gosch, Owner of Gosch Ford Temecula. “We setup this scholarship to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to continue their education, regardless of a students plan to attend a four-year college, community college, or trade school.”

The excitement didn’t end there. Students and their families enjoyed food, drinks, and a dj while 5 senior finalists from Chaparral High School were given the chance to win a 2019 Ford EcoSport. Each of the 5 students chose a key at random, one of which would start the brand new car. Lucero Flores was the lucky winner, and received quite the graduation gift!
