A gunman robbed a Verizon wireless store Sunday in Moreno Valley and authorities were seeking help to locate him.
The armed robbery was reported at 11:22 a.m. Dec. 22 in the 12700 block of Moreno Beach Drive. The suspect who entered the business with a handgun fled with an undisclosed amount of property and money, according to Riverside County sheriff's Deputy Steve Favero.
Favero declined to release any more details about the robbery as it remained under investigation. No one was hurt and the suspect evaded capture, Favero said.
Deputies asked anyone with information about the crime to call the sheriff's Moreno Valley station at (951) 486-6700.
