MURRIETA, CA — If you're looking for work, the U.S. Postal Service announced Friday it is looking to fill positions at Murrieta and Riverside County post offices.

Positions and hourly pay rates are:

 Assistant Rural Carrier — $18.56
 City Carrier Assistant — $17.29
 Holiday Clerk Assistant — $18.15
 Mail Handler Assistant — $16.55
 Mail Processing Assistant —$17.95
 PSE Mail Processing Clerk — $18.15
 Rural Carrier Associate —$18.56
 Holiday Tractor Trailer Operator — $19.64
 Temporary Carrier Assistant — $17.29

Applicants must be 18 years of age. All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam. Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver license and clean DMV two-year driving history. Citizenship or permanent resident status is required, the USPS said.
