I-215 Lane Closures In Murrieta, I-15 Closures In Temecula
This week will see added traffic delays in Southwest Riverside County due to ongoing road work, Caltrans advised.
SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA โMultiple lanes will be shut down on Interstate 215 in Murrieta this week during overnight resurfacing operations, and motorists were cautioned to expect delays. Additionally, work on Interstate 15 near Temecula continues with lane closures.
The I-215 lane closures are scheduled Monday on the southbound side of the freeway, between Los Alamos and Murrieta Hot Springs roads.
Beginning at 8 p.m., crews will close two of three lanes to seal cracks and make similar surface repairs. The mile-long closure is slated to be lifted by 6 a.m. Tuesday, Caltrans said.

According to the agency, during the same hours Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, the No. 2 lane on the northbound I-215 will be closed at the same location for surface improvements.
On Wednesday night, another round of repairs is slated for the southbound side of the freeway, covering the same space over the same 10-hour period, officials said.

Interstate 215 entrance and exit ramps in the work zone will also be shut down.
Caltrans advised motorists to consider alternate routes if they wish to avoid travel interruptions.
On I-15, Caltrans continues work on a $28 million project to replace the #3 and #4 lanes from the Riverside/San Diego County line to just north of the Temecula Creek Bridge.
Monday through Thursday, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., northbound I-15 will have alternating lane closures from Rainbow Valley Road to Temecula Parkway.
The Rainbow Valley Road off-ramp will also be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Friday.
