Large Weapons Cache, $700K Discovered East Of Murrieta
The weapons and money were found during a search warrant service at an illegal marijuana cultivation operation in Sage, authorities said.

SAGE, CA โ During a search warrant service this week by deputies in an incorporated area east of Murrieta, a large cache of illegal weapons and over $700,000 in cash was found, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.
The search warrant was served around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at a private residence in the 35000 block of Lynch Road in Sage in connection with an illegal marijuana cultivation operation, according to sheriff's Sgt. Michael Yarbrough.
Numerous citizen complaints about the home had been filed, Yarbrough said.

When deputies arrived with the search warrant, they found several outbuildings containing marijuana plants, a cannabis edibles manufacturing operation, the weapons cache and money, according to Yarbrough.
Employees of the operation were detained, questioned and later released, Yarbrough said.
