Major Injury Traffic Collision Washington and Calle Del Oso Oro

Wednesday at 7:23 am Murrieta Police and Fire as well as AMR were dispatched to Washington and Calle Del Oso Oro for a major injury traffic collision involving six vehicles.

Multiple units responded arriving at 7:28 am. Upon their arrival, units located a woman trapped in her vehicle with major injuries and several other drivers with moderate injuries.

The collision scene extended from Calle Del Oso Oro to Jerry Allen along Washington. Based on information obtained from the police initial investigation it appears a eastbound Calle Del Oso Oro driver in a ford F250 experienced a medical issue as he made the turn from eastbound Calle Del Oso Oro to southbound Washington.

The Ford hit five other vehicles before it came to rest near Jerry Allen Drive on the wrong side of the road. The investigation is preliminary and no charges are pending at this time.
