SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA โ€” Several Memorial Day events are occurring across Southwest Riverside County. Additionally, a Memorial Day weekend ceremony that involves placing miniature American flags at every grave on the grounds of Riverside National Cemetery will be held Saturday, with hundreds of volunteers on hand. The "Flag for Every Hero" event is slated to run from 8 a.m. to noon.

"The City's Memorial Day observance will take place near the Fallen Warriors Monument at Town Square Park on Monday, May 31 beginning at 8 a.m. We will honor and pay tribute to those service persons who have selflessly laid down their lives defending our freedoms. The event will be held on Monday, May 31st at 10am.
