Murrieta Area Gas Prices At Lowest Level Since Late August

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped two-tenths of a cent Friday to $3.499, its lowest amount since Aug. 29, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is 1.9 cents less than one week ago and 22.8 cents lower one month ago, but 24.8 cents more than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 58 times in the past 61 days, falling 53 cents.
