PHOTOS: Murrieta Fire Sends Large Smoke Plume Through Region
The fire broke out at a home on Tuesday morning.
MURRIETA, CA — Firefighters are at the scene Tuesday morning of a fire in a Murrieta neighborhood. The blaze broke out in the 2400 block of Whitaker Way, near the area of Washington Avenue and Vineyard Parkway.
Heavy fire was first reported from the two-story home's garage just before 7 a.m.
Crews at the scene knocked down the flames within about 15 minutes of arrival.
