Murrieta Girls Softball Hosts Summer Bash

Murrieta Valley Girls Softball Association (MVGSA) is hosting its 17th Annual Summer Bash at Cal Oaks Sports Park this weekend.

Sixty teams from the following cities will be playing in the Annual Bash: Chino, Clairemont, Corona, Escondido, French Valley, Menifee, Murrieta, Rancho Bernardo, Rialto, Riverside, San Marcos and Riverside. Teams consist of Divisions 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U and ages range from 7 through 14yrs.

Games begin Thursday evening with the Bash wrapping up on Monday with Championship games. MVGSA Upper Divisions (ages 16- 18) will be traveling to West Covina for tournament play.

MVGSA recently wrapped up a successful spring season. Approximately 500 girls ranging in ages from 4-18 participated. Registration for Fall season begins in July.

MVGSA is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization that teaches both the basic skills needed to learn the game and advanced skills to prepare them for competitive softball at the school and travel ball levels. MVGSA is registered with ASA and has been in the valley for 19years.
