Murrieta To Reopen City Hall After Months Of Closed Doors
The Murrieta Police Department and Murrieta Fire and Rescue will also reopen their lobbies.

MURRIETA, CA โ After months of closure, Murrieta City Hall will reopen to the public beginning Monday, April 5.
โWe have been operating behind the scene for almost a year now and [are] looking forward to working directly with the public once again,โ Assistant City Manager Ivan Holler said. โWith more businesses opening, lower positivity rates, and more of us are getting vaccinated, the time is right to open our doors โ and we are ready.โ
Hours of operation at City Hall will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on alternate Fridays. The Public Works Department and Development Services counters will be fully accessible with no appointments required, according to the city.

The Murrieta Police Department and Murrieta Fire and Rescue will also reopen their public lobbies on Monday.
The Murrieta Library, Senior Center, and Community Center will begin phased re-openings starting Monday, April 12, with modified hours and programming, according to the city.

Library officials are currently installing self-service kiosks. The Library will start by reopening indoors from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the Library will host its Grab and Go services from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., without indoor operations. After two weeks, the Library will expand its hours and programming.
City Council meetings will continue in a virtual format, with regular re-assessments, the city said.
Everyone entering city buildings will be required to wear a mask per CDC recommendations and have their temperature checked, the city said.
