Murrieta Rotary Honored For Support Of MVUSD Students, Teachers
Since its inception 29 years ago, Murrieta Rotarians have offered programs and services to the students and teachers of the community.

MURRIETA, CA — The Murrieta Rotary Club has provided much goodwill to Murrieta Valley Unified School District students and teachers — and the work hasn't gone unnoticed.
During Thursday night's MVUSD Board of Education meeting, the Murrieta Rotary was recognized for its support of local education.
“We are beyond blessed to have strong community partnerships with organizations such as the Murrieta Rotary Club. Their unwavering support of education, donations and service above self are treasured by our school community," said MVUSD Superintendent Patrick Kelley.

Since its inception 29 years ago, Murrieta Rotarians have offered programs and services to the students and teachers of the community, including:
- Grants for teachers and Interact Club facilitators
- Grants for secondary (6-12 grade) dance programs
- Scholarships for Career Technical Education (CTE) students
- Gift cards for our foster youth to assist with clothing and school supply expenses
- Donation to buy materials for special literacy programs
- Scholarships to graduating seniors
- Senior Gift awarded to Murrieta Canyon Academy graduates
- Musical Competitions
- Vocational Service Awards
- 4-Way Speech Contest
In addition to the above programs and services, Murrieta Rotarians host and organize the Annual Field of Honor, a community event attended by 5th-grade students throughout the MVUSD.
