Murrieta, Temecula Partner for 2nd Annual Quick Pitch Competition
The City of Murrieta and the City of Temecula partnered together to host their Second Annual Quick Pitch Competition.

From the City of Murrieta: On April 18, 2018, the City of Murrieta and the City of Temecula partnered together to host their Second Annual Quick Pitch Competition at Temecula Valley Entrepreneurs Exchange. The competition was one of many events to take place in April for Riverside County Innovation Month.
The competition featured six contestants; Laughing Lizard Adventure Park, Neoboard, Picking Duck, Project Tech Xploration, GattaCo and Cybercrunch, and these startups were given five minutes to pitch their innovative ideas. Laughing Lizard Adventure Park, pitched by Kristen Gallagher, won first place and a $500 cash prize that was sponsored by The Law Offices of Benjamin Diederich and DIY Divorce Kristin Harrison. Tech Xploration, pitched by Patrick Person, won second place. In this competition, the first and second place winners were both selected to participate in the Regional Quick Pitch Competition on April 30 in Riverside.
Riverside County Innovation Month was established by a collaboration of organizations including the County of Riverside Economic Development Agency, U.C.R., the Riverside Community College District and several participating Riverside County cities and related organizations. The initiative was developed to bring awareness to innovation and entrepreneurship in Riverside County. Activities throughout the month include panels, lectures and networking events.
