Murrieta Traffic Advisory: Thursday Night Graduation Ceremonies
Traffic will be heavier Thursday night as in-person graduation ceremonies get underway at MVUSD's three comprehensive high schools.
MURRIETA, CA — In-person high school graduation ceremonies in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District won't be as heavily attended as usual, but they will take place in 2021 and motorists should expect considerable traffic around the campuses.
Seniors have the option of walking during the June 3 commencements, but they are only being provided with four spectator tickets for family members. While the numbers may be down, there will be crowds. The motoring community is asked to plan ahead and be patient.
The graduation ceremonies will be held in the respective school stadiums. Thursday's schedule is as follows:

Murrieta Mesa High School — 6 p.m.
Murrieta Valley High School — 6 p.m. NOTE: Many Murrieta Valley High School graduates will participate in a vehicle parade starting at 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Juniper Street in Old Town and ending at the school's Nighthawk Stadium.
