SoCal Sports 'Sunday Orange' at the Riviera

You've heard of dressing in your "Sunday Best," but what about your "Sunday Orange?"

Murrieta, California golfer Rickie Fowler is known for his bright Puma-sponsored outfits. Something young golfers like Jaren Savage celebrate … almost as much as Fowler's swing.

"Rickie Fowler is my favorite golfer for, like, a year and a half," said Savage. "Well, because I like the colors that he wears and he's really good."

During the final round of the Northern Trust Open on Sunday, Feb. 19, Fowler fans flocked to the ; Including a group of young girls who arranged themselves at each hole so that their shirts spelled out "Rickie!"

How do fans know what to wear? After all, fashion is fleeting! It turns out, if Fowler tweets it … they will come … in their Sunday Orange that is.

Fowler fans knew he wasn't in the running for the big win at the Riviera.

"Today … no," said Savage. "But, he will, definitely. Next year!"
