Southwest Consolidates OB/GYN Care to Murrieta Location
The Women's Center at the Rancho Springs facility features 24 postpartum rooms, 17 private labor and delivery suites, two triage areas, a post anesthesia care unit and two cesarean section operating rooms.

Southwest Healthcare System has consolidated its obstetric and gynecological health care to its newly expanded Women's Center at Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta.
"Consolidation of womenโs services places all OB personnel at one location that is designed to improve the patient experience," according to a Dec. 9 Southwest Healthcare System news release.
Patients from Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar will receive their care in Murrieta.

โWe are excited about combining both womenโs services at one central location,โ said Darleen Vlahovic, director of womenโs services. โBy doing this, we bring together our entire nursing staff that specializes in OB at one centralized facility.โ

Southwest Healthcare's Brian Connors, director of marketing, said women who require emergency obstetric and gynecological care will still be accommodated at Inland Valley Medical Center.
"Our emergency department is prepared," he said. "No one will be left out in the cold."
