Star Party Set for Jan. 7 at Murrieta Library

Families are invited to explore the night sky with the Temecula Valley Astronomers Group.

MURRIETA, CA โ€“ Star light, star bright, what cool things weโ€™ll see tonight! On Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014 at 6 p.m., families will explore the night sky with the Temecula Valley Astronomers Group.

The event will begin in the Libraryโ€™s Community Room with a short discussion of what the children can expect to see through the telescopes. The group will then move outside to the Libraryโ€™s Garden of Verses where the telescopes will be set up for viewing.

โ€œEvents like this are fun and educational,โ€ says Youth Services Librarian, Allison Eagans. โ€œThe kids really seem to enjoy it. We have done this program annually for the past few years and it has always had a great turnout.โ€
