$447.8 Million Powerball Winner! Riverside County Store Sells Singular Jackpot Winning Ticket For June 10

Check your tickets, there was one winning Powerball ticket in the nation — worth a whopping $447.8 million!

SUN CITY, CA — A liquor store in Riverside County sold the singular winning Powerball ticket for Saturday night's jackpot, worth a massive $447.8 million after last minute sales, lottery officials say. The winner is still officially unknown, as the earliest time they can claim their prize is Monday at 8 a.m.

Marrietta Liquor & Deli, located at 27985 Bradley Road in Sun City, was the luckiest store in the nation for this whopping jackpot, according to the California Lottery. The store, located just off the I-215 at McCall Boulevard, was swamped with customers come Sunday, but a manager tells Patch that they haven't heard from the person who bought the winning ticket yet.

In case it was YOU who purchased the winning ticket, here are the numbers: 20-26-32-38-58. The red Powerball number was 3.

"Tonight’s winner is strongly encouraged to sign the back of their ticket in ink, keep it in a safe place where they’ll remember and visit any of the Lottery’s nine district office locations as soon as possible," California Lottery officials said Saturday. "Tonight’s jackpot winner has one year from the draw date to claim their prize."

The winner can choose to collect the full $447.8 million spread out over 30 years, or they can also choose a lump sum payment of $279.1 million. The prize makes for the 7th-largest jackpot in Powerball game history, according to lottery officials.

Marrietta Liquor & Deli also comes out a winner from this game. They get a $1 million bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
