Two Arrested After Probation Check Turns Up Drugs, Cash
Two men on probation were arrested at a Murrieta home on Saturday.

Officers discovered ecstasy, cocaine, marijuana and hash oil at a Murrieta home and arrested two probationers, according to police.
Officers went at 10:20 a.m. Saturday to a home in the 25100 block of Vista Murrieta Road to see whether Logan Mason, 22, was complying with the terms of his court-ordered probation.
Officers found 84 grams of ecstasy, 23 grams of cocaine, 51 ounces of marijuana and 18 baggies of hash oil during a search of Masonโs bedroom, the Murrieta Police Department reported.

Numerous cellophane drug packaging was also found as well as an undisclosed amount of cash, all of which officers seized as evidence, police said.
Mason and a second probationer, John Thomas, 22, were arrested for several alleged drug-related violations. Thomas was at Masonโs home at the time officers did their random compliance check, police reported.

Both suspects remained in custody Sunday in lieu of $50,000 bail, online jail records showed.
