A Vibrant Downtown Murrieta

Downtown Murrieta 395 Kick Off Event

A mix of mom & pop shop keepers, residents & non profit representatives converged on Wine Ranch Grill & Cellars on a sunny morning in early February, to be introduced to the newly formed Downtown Murrieta Merchants & Property Owners Association.

Board Director Casey Jurado summed up the theme of the organization's vision by stating that "This meeting is a 'we' thing, an 'us' thing. Its not political, its not about any one person or group...it's about community, focusing on this particular cultural asset we call Downtown"
With approximately 40 people in attendance, it attested to that fact that many of Murrieta's citizens would love to see a vibrant, cultural, historical downtown gathering area. The association is working to create a destination for community events & celebrations to consistently draw visitors and give Downtown an opportunity to brand an identity.
This identity has began to materialize...with the newly opened Murrieta History Museum & tours, the tasty & habit forming Crafted Scone, the intimate performances at the The Bach Theater & a variety of locally owned restaurants one can frequent, Downtown Murrieta is on the cusp of being a vibrant, exciting place for the people of Murrieta to call their own.

Membership with Downtown Murrieta 395 is open to the public & starts at $50/year. Please contact them through their Facebook Page: Downtown Murrieta 395 for additional information.
