Vista Murrieta SoCal Girls Soccer Gears Up For 2021 CIF SS Games

MURRIETA, CA — This week, Vista Murrieta High School, and high school girls soccer teams across the Southland are gearing up for CIF Southern Section Playoffs: Winter 2021.

Across the Southland, schools are preparing for their division matchups. In Division 1, Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Villa Park High School in Villa Park both have the first day of playoffs off, proceeding directly to the second round, as does Harvard-Westlake in Los Angeles.

In Division 7, Arrowhead Christian High School also earned a bye for their first game of the playoffs.

Temple City defeated Highland with a score of 2 to 1.

WILDCARD: Division 5

Campbell Hall High School defeated Chino High School with a score of 2 to 0.

Western Christian High School defeated El Rancho High School with a score of 2 to 1.

Notre Dame Academy defeated Pasadena High School in the first overtime.

Winners will play in the second round, held Friday, May 14 at locations to be determined.

The CIF Southern Section quarter-final is scheduled for May 18. Semi-finals are scheduled for May 22, and the CIF Southern Section Finals are slated for play on May 28 or 29.
