10 Napa County Schools With The Best Teachers For 2020

NAPA COUNTY, CA — The beginning of the school year is a good time to do a little research on how your teachers stack up against others — whether you’re sending your children to kindergarten for the first time or if they’re preparing to graduate.

Niche, which rates everything in education, has created a list of what it considers the schools with the best teachers in Napa County.

According to Niche.com, the rankings are based on seven factors: academic grades, parent/student surveys on teachers, teacher absenteeism, teacher salary index, teachers in their first or second year, average teacher salary and the student-teacher ratio.

Carmel Middle School in the Carmel Unified School District has the best teachers in the state of California, according to the rankings. With 575 total students in the school, and a student-teacher ratio of 15:1, Carmel Middle School had an A+ rating in both teachers and overall Niche grade.

The top-rated school in Napa County when it comes to the best teachers was Vichy Elementary School in Napa. With 358 total students and a student-teacher ratio of 24:1, Vichy Elementary is ranked No. 394 for Best Public Elementary School Teachers in California. Niche gave the school an A+ for its teachers and an overall grade of A-.
