Art Exhibit To Open In Downtown Napa
An open house event is planned to celebrate the opening of "Brix Fix," a solo exhibit featuring artist Danette Landry.

NAPA, CA — A solo exhibit featuring a globally acclaimed artist is set to be unveiled Saturday at Acumen Napa Valley Tasting Room in downtown Napa. A special open house is planned to mark the opening of "Brix Fix," the work of artist Danette Landry.
The open house is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 14 at 1315 First St. in Napa.
The "Brix Fix" exhibit features an array of original paintings by Landry, including works shipped from France and Australia specifically for the show.

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Agnès Martin, Malevitch, Rothko and Richard Serra, Landry’s captivating paintings feature beautifully executed nontraditional color mixes, with an emphasis on the color red, and its power to seduce, celebrate, ignite and empower.
Landry’s recent exhibitions include several shows in Paris, France, and an exhibit at the A.I.R. Gallery in New York.
Acumen was founded in 2012, with the goal of making the finest estate-grown wines on Atlas Peak, Acumen farms two coveted mountain vineyards—Edcora and Attelas—totaling 116 planted acres. Using grapes from these organically and sustainably certified estate vineyards, Acumen crafts a small portfolio of acclaimed mountain-grown wines, with a focus on Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc.

Admission to the art show is complimentary. Guests may also do a wine and cheese tasting for $35.
The "Brix Fix" art show runs through May 16.
