'Delivery Van Loaded With Bread' Goes Off Silverado Trail: CHP

Around 6:30 a.m. Monday, CHP got word of a "3/4-ton delivery van loaded with bread 15-20 feet off the roadway."

NAPA VALLEY, CA — Traffic was down to one lane Monday morning on Silverado Trail South in St. Helena because of a crash involving a delivery van, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Around 6:30 a.m. Monday, CHP got word of a "3/4-ton delivery van loaded with bread 15-20 feet off the roadway" at Silverado Trail South, just north of Taplin Road.

No injuries were reported but a tow truck crew had trouble removing the vehicle; as of 8:45 a.m., one-way traffic control was in effect as additional crews responded.
