Green Valley Road Reopens In Napa County

A downed tree hit utility lines, closing the roadway to all traffic.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Green Valley Road reopened at 11 a.m. after a closure Tuesday morning at Wild Horse Valley Road, where a downed tree hit utility lines.

"PG&E have been notified, there is no estimated time to re opening," Napa County Public Works advised.

PG&E told Patch it had no lines down in Napa, and that the lines were believed to be telecom or phone lines.

Regardless, motorists were encouraged to find an alternate route to avoid the road closure.
