Earthquake Near Angwin Rattles North Bay, Bay Area

NAPA COUNTY , CA— A magnitude 3.6 earthquake struck Monday morning near Angwin, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake was recorded 8.6 miles east of Angwin, and was felt across the North Bay, from Napa and St. Helena to Vacaville, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park and Nicasio, as well as in Oakland, San Francisco and Mountain View — almost 80 miles away from the epicenter— the USGS said.

No injuries or damages were immediately reported in the quake.
