Fair & Fiesta Set For Cinco De Mayo At Calistoga Fairgrounds
The all-new Napa County Fairgrounds event includes a circus, Mexican bull riding, AMA racing and more.

NAPA VALLEY, CA - From Napa County Fair: For the first time ever in May, Calistoga will be hosting a Fair & Fiesta @ The Napa County Fairgrounds with everything from fair exhibits to animals and games, a circus, motorcycle racing, bull riding, live music, amazing food and one heck of a Cinco de Mayo party.
Produced by Celebrate! Napa Valley, a DBA of the Napa County Fair Association (NCFA), the Fair & Fiesta @ The Napa County Fairgrounds has been developed to bring back traditional county fair attractions such as ag-education and animals to a community proud of their heritage. This year’s event is jam-packed full of interactive amusements, fun activities, competitive exhibits, and an exciting line-up of entertainment.
“Our fair has traditionally been held on 4th of July, the busiest summer holiday and therefore, a challenging time for people to be involved,” shares NCFA CEO Carlene Moore. “This year we wanted to offer our community the best of both worlds; a county fair in May where we can truly showcase local amazing talents and a patriotic party on July 4th worthy of our community traditions.”

During this year’s Fair & Fiesta, fairgoers will be able to get up close and personal with baby animals roaming freely in the Great American Petting Zoo. Meet a llama, hand feed a Fallow Deer, and rub noses with a Sicilian Donkey or an African Pygmy Goat. Horse lovers won’t want to miss their chance at riding a purebred Welsh pony during the Pony Rides and from there the kids can learn all about life on a farm in AG-Ventureland, where they can milk a cow, rope a steer, pedal a tractor, make crafts, get their face painted and much more.
Great for the whole family, the fair will also offer giant lawn games, contests, a zip line and rock wall, Giant Trykes, Bumper Cars, Spin Challenge, Human Whack-A-Mole, and other interactive amusements. Around the grounds fairgoers can watch chef demonstrations, peruse the community exhibits building, and enjoy delicious food offered in the Food Truck Rally.

Admission to the Fair & Fiesta @ The Napa County Fairgrounds is only $10 per person and kids 5 and under are free, or included with your ticket to the motorcycle races and jaripeo.
For additional admission, fairgoers can enjoy the featured entertainment on Saturday and Sunday.
On Saturday night, flat track race fans will want to get their tickets to the Calistoga Speedway early for a night of motorcycle racing like no other. The race starts at 6 p.m. and ticket prices range from $25 - $60 depending on the seats. From 7 – 9 p.m. fairgoers 21 and older are invited to attend the Cinco de Mayo Party for margaritas, dancing, and more great food.
And on Sunday, enjoy a full afternoon of oohs and ahs as the Mexican bull riders try their hand in the Jaripeo at 3 p.m. Unlike the American bull riding, Mexican cowboys are challenged to stay on the bull until he ceases to buck.
