Fatal Napa County Motorcycle Crash Blocks SR-128
The collision closed state Highway 128 in both directions near Berryessa Knoxville Road.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — A fatal collision Sunday involving a motorcycle resulted in a SigAlert for state Highway 128 near Berryessa Knoxville Road, according to the California Highway.
The crash in an unincorporated area of Napa County was first reported around 4:55 p.m. Sunday when a motorcycle was discovered on the ground on the right shoulder of SR-128 — about two miles west of the Steel Canyon Resort at the southern tip of Lake Berryessa.
The Sig-Alert was issued at 5:47 p.m. for SR-128 in both directions just east of Berryessa Knoxville Road, the CHP reported.

The roadway was reportedly clear at 6:32 p.m., and at 6:44 p.m., the Sig-Alert was officially lifted.
CHP dispatchers did not indicate whether there were any vehicles at the scene other than the motorcycle.
