Grant "Twiggy" Baker Wins Mavericks Invitational

Grant "Twiggy" Baker of South Africa won today's Mavericks Invitational surfing contest in Half Moon Bay, ABCLocal News is reporting.

The TV station said the waves were at least 45 feet high for the event that drew thousands of  spectators.
