It's Prime Pumpkin Patch Season In Napa, North Bay: PHOTOS

Families enjoyed mild weather over the weekend at local pumpkin patches such as Stanly Lane in south Napa.

NORTH BAY, CA — Prime pumpkin patch season has arrived in the North Bay. The fires two years ago and rainy weather have disrupted festivities at area pumpkin patches, but not this year.

Venues such as Stanly Lane Pumpkin Patch in south Napa and Pronzini Pumpkin Patch east of Petaluma were both packed over the weekend, Oct. 12-13, with families and guests of all ages.

Among the guests at Stanly Lane was Napa police Officer Nathan Kistner, who showed up on a break from work to meet his daughter, 4-year-old Sage, for their traditional visit to the pumpkin patch. He said his daughter has been to the venue every year.
