Lake Berryessa Drowning Victim ID'd As San Jose Man
A 22-year-old man who drowned last week at Lake Berryessa has been identified.
NAPA, CA — A 22-year-old man who drowned last week at Lake Berryessa has been identified, authorities said.
Billy Dy, of San Jose, was reported missing while swimming near the Pleasure Cove Marina about 5 p.m. Friday.
The Napa County Sheriff's Office, the Yolo County Sheriff, firefighters and a California Highway Patrol helicopter responded to search for the missing swimmer, and worked well into the night.
The searchers found Dy's body at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.
