'Make A Difference Together' Storytime Planned At Napa Library
Supervisor Brad Wagenknecht is leading the storytime in honor of the Season for Nonviolence, established by Mohandas Gandhi's grandson​.
NAPA, CA — Families with children 4 years and older are invited to a special storytime March 18 at the Napa Main Library. During the "Make a Difference Together" storytime presented by District 1 Supervisor Brad Wagenknecht, families can enjoy an evening of stories, poems and songs and partake in a collaborative craft activity.
The storytime honors the Season for Nonviolence — established by Mohandas Gandhi's grandson, Arun Gandhi, as an annual event in celebration of the philosophies and lives of Mohandas Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.
The Season for Nonviolence began Jan. 30, the anniversary of Mohandas Gandhi's assassination, and ends April 4, the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination.

The storytime is free and there is no registration required. It is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 18 in the Children's Room of the Napa Main Library, 580 Coombs St. in Napa.
This event is recommended for children 4 and older. Families are also advised that under library policy, children younger than 8 must be accompanied by an adult.
