Funding for the one-year, $8-million project came from Napa Valley Business Park Traffic Mitigation Fees, including contributions from the City of American Canyon.
Completed on time and under budget, the project involved constructing 1,100 feet of new roadway from Airpark Road to Tower Road, and putting in a 92-foot bridge over Fagan Creek, Brinkerhoff said.
Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. of Santa Rosa, was the project contractor.
ADKO Engineering conducted the design work, and Biggs-Cardosa Associates provided construction management.
