Napa County Closes Stretch of Road Due to Mudslide
An unincorporated Napa County area west of the City of Napa will remain closed the next few days while road crews remove a mudslide.

NAPA COUNTY, CA -- Redwood Road in unincorporated Napa County west of the City of Napa is closed through the weekend while Napa County road crews remove a mudslide that occurred earlier in the week.
The closure is in the 3200 block of Redwood Road.
The cause of the slide is unclear and clean-up costs are estimated at $150,000, Deputy County Executive Officer Molly Rattigan said.

The County hopes to open Redwood Road early next week, Rattigan said.
PG&E has restored service to most residents and blocked driveways have been cleared, Rattigan said. Now County road crews are removing soil, trees, woody materials and rocks to County-owned sites.
