Napa County Deputies Rescue Bull From Lake Berryessa: PHOTOS
The bovine took a dip in the lake to cool off and lucky for him, it was not the deputies' first rodeo.
NAPA COUNTY, CA — Two Napa County sheriff's deputies saved a four-legged, near-drowning victim Wednesday from Lake Berryessa.
It was a typical — but very warm — day on the lake until Deputies James Hartley and Joe Schiavoni spotted a bull in 25-foot-deep water some 400 yards from the shoreline along East Side Road, the Napa County Sheriff's Office said.
We're thinking the bovine took a dip to cool off and lucky for him, it was not the deputies' first rodeo.

"They roped the bull, then carefully pulled him to shore with their jet skis," the sheriff's office said. "Excellent work out there!"
