Napa County To Transition To MyTurn Vaccine Registration Tool

Anyone 75 or older who lives or works in Napa County but has not registered through the county's form is asked to do so by 5 p.m. Friday.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — As Napa County prepares to transition to the state's MyTurn online vaccine registration, any 75 or older who lives or works in Napa County who has not signed up for a coronavirus vaccine through the county's online interest form is asked to do so by 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12.

In Napa County, COVID-19 vaccinations are continuing for health care workers and nursing home residents and staff, as well as all residents age 75 and older. Those 75 or older who do not have a computer or need assistance registering by 5 p.m. Friday can call 707-253-4540.

Vaccine-eligible residents under age 75 who have already registered using the county's system will not have to re-register, according to the county, but eligible residents who have not yet registered are encouraged to do so using the state's online registration portal at Myturn.ca.gov.

MyTurn, which Gov. Gavin Newsom announced just over two weeks ago, has been piloted in Los Angeles and San Diego counties with the intent of making it available statewide by the middle of this month.

Napa County expects its transition to MyTurn to be completed on or around March 1.

Residents will be able to use MyTurn to sign up for text or email notifications when they can finally receive a vaccine as well as information on where vaccines are available, how many state residents have already been vaccinated and the tiers for vaccine access.
