Napa Detours Necessary For Final Roundabout Paving

California Boulevard is scheduled to be closed between Clay and Third streets for final paving, according to Caltrans.

NAPA, CA — Final paving is underway on newly installed Napa roundabouts, according to Caltrans. The city of Napa and Caltrans partnered up for the project which entailed construction of roundabouts at the intersections of the northbound state Highway 29 — state Highway 121 — off-ramp at First Street, First Street and California Boulevard, and Second Street and California Boulevard.

Ramp closures and detours were necessary for the paving work that began Thursday morning, April 2, and was scheduled to continue through Friday, April 3, Caltrans District 4 Spokesperson Pedro Quintana said.

From 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, California Boulevard is scheduled to be closed between Clay and Third streets for final paving.
