Napa Language Academy Musicians Give Debut Performance

The Napa Language Academy’s  “Heartstrings Orchestra” made its debut, performing with Orchestra Institute Napa Valley at the annual Napa Valley Language Academy Holiday Potluck earlier this week. 

Napa Valley Language Academy has partnered with the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater to bring the Orchestra Institute Fellows, the center’s resident musicians, into the school this year to teach in class, as well as to be part of the school’s Music Maestros, who teach in the after school “El Sistema” program.

The Orchestra Institute Fellows are rising, professional musicians from across the country who work in residence at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center for a full year, and this year, part of their work includes training and mentoring the new “Heartstrings Orchestra.”
